At the end of June 2022, new Auxílio Brasil cards began arriving at beneficiaries' addresses.

According to the Ministry of Citizenship, the new Auxílio Brasil cards are already in the homes of many beneficiaries across the country.

More than 3 million chip card units were issued and, with this feature, families can make purchases and pay bills using the debit function. They can also be used to withdraw funds at Caixa Econômica and Banco24Horas branches.

Upon receiving the card, beneficiaries need to register a personal, non-transferable password to use the resource in their daily purchases and payments.

Unfortunately, there is no way to check your password via the app, over the phone or at Caixa Econômica branches and lottery outlets.

Remembering that, when you receive the card, it does not have a password. In other words, you need to register a numerical order to be able to use the debit function.

There is only way to find out how many numbers and which numerical sequences the Auxílio Brasil card accepts at the time of registration.

This access is not open to the public, only those who have been covered by the social program can open the “Auxílio Brasil” tab in the Caixa Tem application and check how the password works.

If you have lost your Auxílio Brasil card password, to regain access, you will need to contact Caixa customer service and follow the indicated protocols.

It is not possible to change or renew your password online, neither on the official website nor via an app.

To renew your Auxílio Brasil password, you must follow the protocol pre-established by Caixa. The first step is to call Caixa's call center on 111 and request a password renewal, pressing option 6.

When applying, have your social identification number – NIS, ID, CPF and program card on hand. When you complete the procedure, go to a lottery outlet near you with your social identification document and benefit card.

There, you will proceed to complete the re-registration of your password. If you prefer, this process can also be completed at a Caixa Econômica branch closer to you.

To change the password for the Auxílio Brasil app, you must log into the application and on the first screen select the “access” option.

After that, the app will ask how you want to access it, so select “I want to enter with my Auxílio Brasil app password or I want to register”. When you do this step, you will see the option “I forgot my password” on the screen.

This way, just click on the email that will be sent to your registered email address and make the exchange. Remembering that the password for the Auxílio Brasil app is the same as the Caixa Trabalhador app and the FGTS app.

The new Auxílio Brasil card can be used as a debit card for everyday purchases and bill payments.

In addition, you can withdraw your balance free of charge at Caixa Econômica Federal or at Banco24Horas network terminals.
