The Vale-feira benefit was created to help several Brazilians with their diet. With it, it is possible to receive up to R$100.00 per month to use at neighborhood fairs.
In this way, the beneficiary manages to have an extra income to help with monthly expenses. In addition, it manages to bring adequate food into the house.
However, the benefit is offered by the municipalities, and not directly by the Federal Government. Therefore, the rules and values vary according to the region.
Even so, many Brazilian states have already adhered to Vale-feira and are distributing it to the low-income population.
To find out if you are entitled to assistance and how to register, continue reading below!
How to register in Vale-feira?
Basically, Vale-feira is a benefit offered by municipalities. As such, your rules and ways of joining the program may change by region.
However, all municipalities that joined the program used the same criteria to grant the aid.
For now, municipalities check availability through CadÚnico. From it, low-income people can register to access government programs and benefits.
So, by registering with CadÚnico and keeping your data up to date, you can now access the Vale-feira benefit.
To register, you can attend the CRAS in your region with your personal documents. If there are other people living with you, you will also need to bring documents for each of them.
How to receive the benefit?
After registering with CadÚnico, you must wait for the City Hall to contact you. That's because each municipality is releasing the benefit little by little.
To select families, the municipality checks the list of people registered through CadÚnico. So, they prioritize aid for families in the most urgent situation.
How to withdraw Vale-feira?
The Vale-feira benefit does not work through an account deposit. Therefore, it is not possible to make any type of withdrawal.
From the moment the benefit is granted to the family, the responsible person receives a receipt to use in their purchases.
In this way, this receipt is gradually released from the CRAS. He makes a call to the beneficiary informing the place and time that they can pick up the ticket.
Finally, if you are part of the low-income population, there are several benefits that can help you. One of them, and perhaps the best known, is Bolsa Família.
With Bolsa Família you have the opportunity to change your life and guarantee an income of R$600 or more per month!
