From time to time, the UN publishes a list of the best cities in Brazil to live in according to the Municipal Human Development Index (MHDI), a statistic based on data on life expectancy at birth, education and GDP per capita. Among them, there are always stamped figures, such as São Caetano do Sul, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, Florianópolis, capital of Santa Catarina, and Santos, a coastal city in the state of São Paulo. These cities, however, we already know, but what about the small ones, which very few people have heard of? Well, little is known!
