On Wednesday, May 18, 2022, President Jair Bolsonaro sanctioned the provisional measure that stipulates the benefit in the minimum amount of R$$ 400 for families in situations of poverty and extreme poverty. And since March 29, the benefit has also undergone changes and updates.

How to register for Auxílio Brasil 2022?
To register, first of all, you need to be registered in the Single Registry of Social Programs of the Federal Government, also known as CadÚnico.
After that, you must contact 111 to check if you are entitled to the benefit.
This is because the government analyzes your data to decide whether or not to make the benefit available.
And in addition, you can also check through the Social Savings app and Social Platform.
Finally, you need to be registered with Cadúnico to request Auxílio Brasil and wait for the Federal Government to analyze it. Below you can check the step-by-step guide to becoming a beneficiary.
It is important to say that, in addition to the changes in income rules, the new aid decree also changes the distribution of benefits.
This is because the Junior Scientific Initiation scholarship and the Rural Productive Inclusion Aid will be transferred in addition to the Transition Compensatory Benefit that will be paid to families with a reduction in the benefit after switching from Bolsa Família to Auxílio Brasil.
In parentheses, we emphasize that Auxílio Brasil was a reformulation of the current management of the former Bolsa Família program, being at the time the largest income distribution program in Brazil!
In addition, the Family Composition Benefit will also be added with payment of R$65 per month, for each member between 6 and 21 years of age and pregnant women, for nine months.
Finally, there will also be the payment of the Extreme Poverty Overcoming Benefit so that there are no families in poverty. In fact, families will be able to choose between receiving it from private institutions instead of Caixa Econômica!
Step by step guide to becoming a beneficiary of Auxílio Brasil
To become a beneficiary of Auxílio Brasil, as we mentioned earlier, you need to be registered with CadÚnico. However, if you are not yet registered, just go to the CRAS at your city hall to regularize your situation.
In this case, it is necessary to take all personal documents and also the personal documents of all family members.
On the other hand, if you are already registered with CadÚnico, but your data is out of date, you will also need to update it.
Once again, go to CRAS to make the necessary updates with your personal documents and those of all family members.
After that, just access the Caixa app or call 111 to find out if you are entitled to the Auxílio benefit, as well as accessing the Easy Savings Account.

How to become a permanent beneficiary of Auxílio Brasil?
Since March 2022, some updates have been made to Auxílio Brasil, for example, the income required to apply for the benefit.
So, according to the new rules, families in extreme poverty with a per capita income of up to R$$105. And families in poverty with a per capita income between R$$105.01 and R$$210 per person can register.
