Auxílio Gás is a social benefit program of the Federal Government. It is made available to all municipalities and states in Brazil, intended for the purchase of cooking gas for personal use by low-income families in situations of poverty and extreme poverty.

In addition, families with women victims of domestic violence and with active urgent protective measures are given preference in assistance. The social program is managed by the Ministry of Citizenship, which is responsible for sending payment resources.

Caixa Econômica Federal, on the other hand, is responsible for making the payment of the aid to people selected by the Ministry of Citizenship, based on data informed by the Cadastro Único.

Brazilians eligible to participate in the program are families enrolled and with updated data in the Single Registry with monthly income less than or equal to half the minimum wage per capita.

It is worth noting that even families that already receive other benefits from the government can also apply for the aid.

Also eligible are families that have at their core someone who receives the benefit of continuous provision of social assistance (BPC/LOAS), whether or not they are enrolled in the CadÚnico.

To consult your Vale Gás by CPF, just open the Auxílio Brasil application, log in or register, if you haven’t already, and check if you are already contemplated or are eligible for the program.

In addition, through the application, you can consult other data about the aid, amounts, dates of the next deposits and payment statements.

You can also consult Vale Gás through the CPF at Caixa Assistance, by the number 111, or through the Caixa Tem application, in which the beneficiary moves and receives the deposited amounts of the aid.

There is no way to register for Vale Gás, as the only way to be contemplated is to have your Single Registration active and updated. In this way, it is not necessary to make any registration on the part of the family to be approved.

To do this, all you need to do is have your data in CadÚnico approved and that you comply with the rules of Vale Gás. As soon as you and your family are chosen, you will receive contact from the city hall or CRAS in your city, notifications in the application or a contact from the Ministry of Citizenship.
