How does the Aeronautics public competition work?
Every mid-level or higher-level Aeronautics competition has several phases to select the best candidates.
In this Air Force 2023 competition there will be 6 stages:
- Written test: this is one of the stages where candidates are most often eliminated. For these he will need to study Portuguese, English, mathematics and physics. In the notice, all programmatic content must be organized, study the subjects;
- INSPSAU: in this second stage you will be undergoing some medical examinations and they will prove that you are a capable person. In addition to showing that it meets the requirements that the armed forces determine;
- EAP: this is the psychological aptitude exam where your behavior and personality will be analyzed using techniques. You must show that you can work in the armed forces without experiencing psychological harm;
- TACF: you will have to take a test to assess your physical fitness. There is a minimum number of repetitions in a maximum time in the running exercise. We recommend that you are prepared;
- Hetero-identification procedure: this stage of the competition is only valid for people competing for black vacancies. Basically, proof is sought that the person is of African descent;
- Documentary validation: this is the last stage of the competition, where they will analyze all the documents that the notice requires from the candidate.
This way, if you pass all the stages, you can work in the Air Force, receiving a great salary.
What are the details of the notice?
Contest dates
The registration period is now open and runs from 02/23/2023 until 03/15/2023.
If you seek exemption from the fee, you must place the request between the same dates.
In fact, the same goes for those who will compete for vacancies for black or brown people and pregnant women who need to breastfeed a child up to 6 months old on the day of the test.
After that, worry about the application fee. This needs to be paid between 02/23/2023 and 03/22/2023.
The registration letter showing the location where you will take the exam will be made available until 05/22/2023.
Furthermore, the written test will be held on 06/04/2023. The official answer sheet can only be accessed on 07/03/2023.
The intermediate concentration of those approved will be on 07/24/2023 (1st concentration). In addition, there is a 1st concentration that will be held on 07/31/23.
Regardless of which concentration you take, for a week you will have to do all the physical exams explained above.
Competition positions and vacancies
Firstly, the competition divides the vacancies into 2 options. Let's now explain the positions and number of vacancies, which are more than in the 2022 aeronautics competition.
We will start with option 01, where these vacancies:
- Aircraft Mechanic: 60 vacancies, 12 of which are for black people;
- War Material: 15 places in total, 03 of which are reserved;
- Electricity and Instruments: 16 vacancies, 03 for people of African descent;
- Structure and Painter: 10 vacancies, 02 of which are reserved;
- Flight Equipment: 12 spaces, 02 for black people;
- Supply: 14 places, of which 03 are reserved;
- Guard and Security: 30 vacancies, 06 of which are for black people.
On the other hand, it uses absolutes where it is just a position:
- Air Traffic Control: in this case, there are 85 vacancies, but 17 are reserved.
This way, keep in mind that you have many different paths to follow in the Air Force.
Compensation and benefits
The notice does not present the remuneration for the positions, the only information about this is that the person will receive a scholarship while taking the sergeant training course (CFS).
Those approved will receive a grant of R$ 1250.00
Requirements to participate in the contest
Firstly, you need to be Brazilian and you need to sign up voluntarily for the Air Force mid-level competition.
On the other hand, you need to see all the documents necessary for registration.
In addition, you must be under 18 years old and have authorization from those responsible to carry out all stages of the competition.
Finally, you must register and pay the fee.
Programmatic content of the tests
Firstly, for the Aeronautics 2023 competition you need to study Portuguese, knowing how to interpret text and have knowledge of grammar.
On the other hand, English needs to be intermediate for those who want to study the Air Traffic Control specialty. For other vacancies, basic English is sufficient.
This way, regardless of which option you choose, you will only need to have knowledge of English grammar.
In mathematics, you will study basic things like statistics, going on to slightly more complicated subjects like trigonometry.
Finally, in physics I needed all the basic knowledge, including the study of radiation.
