In 2022, the Senate confirmed that it will increase the value of the Brazil Aid to R$ 600, bringing a feeling of more security to policyholders. In fact, with the various benefits and also with the number of members per family, the value could be even higher.

In this sense, the forecast is that approximately 18 million Brazilians will receive the benefit, and payments have already been made since March!

To be entitled to the increase in the Auxílio Brasil, you must fit one of the following concessions:

  • Early Childhood Benefit: which is paid to families with children between 0 and 36 months of age;
  • Benefit for Overcoming Extreme Poverty: for all families that receive benefits, but whose per capita income is still not able to overcome the extreme poverty line;
  • Junior Scientific Initiation Scholarship: 12 installments paid every month to students benefiting from the Auxílio Brasil who perform well in academic and scientific competitions;
  • Child Citizen Assistance: which is paid to heads of families who manage to find a job and cannot find vacancies in day care centers to leave their children from 0 to 48 months old;
  • Family Composition Benefit: which is paid to families with young people up to 21 years old;
  • Rural Productive Inclusion Aid: which is paid for up to 36 months to family farmers enrolled in CadÚnico;
  • Urban Productive Inclusion Aid: which is paid to those who prove that they have a formal job;
  • Transition Compensatory Benefit: which is paid to Bolsa Família beneficiaries who lost part of the amount received due to program updates;
  • School Sport Allowance: which is paid to students aged 12 to 17 who are members of beneficiary families and stand out in the Brazilian School Games.

In this way, beneficiaries will be automatically included by the Ministry of Citizenship, but they need to keep the data always updated in CadÚnico!

Will there be an allowance for those who receive the Brazil Aid?

First, there is a milk project PL nº 625 of 2022, authored by Senator Alexandre Silveira (PSD-MG), which institutes the payment of allowances for beneficiaries of the Auxílio Brasil.

In this sense, the senator states that the allowance will “help fight poverty and extreme poverty, guaranteeing a gain of almost 10% of the amount received annually by families”. It also states that the allowance would benefit approximately 1.4 million families in Minas Gerais alone.

And in addition, the proposal also provides for the payment of an additional 50% of the amount in the months of June and December for beneficiaries of Scholar Sports Assistance and Junior Scientific Initiation Scholarship.

Thus, for the proposal to be approved, approval by the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies is required. In the end, it needs to receive the sanction of the President of the Republic.

How can I check the payment date for Brazil Aid?

But, after all, how to check the payment date? Source: CanvaPro.

To check the payment date, you must check the final digit of the Social Identification Number, that is, the NIS. It can be verified on the Bolsa Família card or you can consult it through the CPF in CadÚnico.

After seeing what the final number of the NIS is, you just need to check the scheduled date on the calendar to receive the benefit.

Remembering that the official calendar of Aid Brasil 2022 was published on December 30, 2021 in the Official Gazette of the Union and beneficiaries always receive it in the last fortnight of each month.

In addition, you can consult your benefit in the Social Program app, which is available for Android and iOS. Thus, you can withdraw the amount up to 120 days after the date indicated in the official calendar.

On the other hand, if you don't make the withdrawal, the amounts return to the Union.

If you have any questions about Auxílio Brasil, you can contact the Ministry of Citizenship at 121 and also at 111, which is Caixa’s Citizen Service, where you can find information about the card and withdrawal of the aid.
