19. Museo Sitio de Memoria ESMA

Como é de conhecimento geral da maioria, o período obscuro da ditadura militar não reinou apenas no Brasil. Na realidade, ele existiu por toda a América do Sul, como, por exemplo, nos países do Chile e da Argentina. Ambos sofreram grandes massacres, assim como no nosso país, em que milhares de pessoas foram mortas por defender a democracia.

No caso específico argentino, a crueldade foi bárbara. Na Escola Superior de Mecânica da Armada, a antiga ESMA, localizada em uma avenida movimentada, próximo de estação de trem, lojas e estádio de futebol, ou seja, bem diante da vida de todos, havia um centro clandestino de detenção, tortura e extermínio. Hoje, este horripilante lugar conta com o “Museo Sitio de Memoria ESMA”, onde é possível ver de perto as crueldades deste passado nebuloso da Argentina .
