05. Nuremberg Tribunal

Shortly after World War II, a tribunal convened in Nuremberg, Germany, to try the crimes committed by the Nazis during the war. From 1945 to 1949, the Nuremberg Tribunal tried 199 men, 21 of whom were Nazi leaders. The charges ranged from crimes against international law to deliberately provoking World War II. Among the defendants tried and convicted was Adolf Hitler's right-hand man, Hermann Goering.
