É inegável o fato de que a história trouxe profundas marcas na cidade de Berlim, na Alemanha. Dentre elas, as da Guerra Fria, que já falamos acima, e as da Segunda Guerra Mundial. Não à toa, Berlim guarda diversas memórias por suas ruas e prédios, a exemplo da Topografia do Terror, localizada no terreno que, entre 1933 e 1945, abrigou a sede da Gestapo, considerada a central do horror nazista. .
Dedicado aos horrores praticados pelo regime nazista, a Topografia do Terror ganha cada vez mais importância na manutenção da memória. Lá, são expostos os crimes e atrocidades cometidos pelas polícias nazistas, assim como o mecanismo das propagandas desta época, verdadeiras armas utilizadas pelo partido para gerar histeria coletiva e passar por cima de direitos essenciais. Ou seja, o local ajudará você a entender como era a máquina de poder e de terror nazista. Uma verdadeira aula de história!
