08. Hiroshima
Quando se fala sobre a Segunda Guerra Mundial, vários fatos históricos vem à mente. Dentre eles, os bombardeamentos de Hiroshima e Nagasaki, cidades do Japão, que ocorreram em 6 e 9 de agosto de 1945. O acontecimento foi tão marcante principalmente porque foi o primeiro e único momento na história em que armas nucleares foram usadas em guerra e contra alvos civis.
No que diz respeito à Hiroshima, quase 20 anos depois da bomba atômica que aniquilou a cidade japonesa, ela conseguiu se reerguer e hoje é um forte polo turístico do Japão. Para se ter ideia, em 2016, 1,17 milhão de estrangeiros visitaram a cidade atraídos pelo Parque da Paz, que acolhe restos da Cúpula da Bomba e um museu sobre o impacto do ataque, além do Museu Memorial da Paz de Hiroshima, onde há testemunhos dos sobreviventes, bem como roupas e outros objetos das vítimas.
