Features of the Submarino card and Vooz card

Submarine Card

Submarino is a company that has been operating in the electronics segment since 1999 and throughout these years the store has been building more and more credibility in the market.

Therefore, after a certain amount of time on the market, the Submarino card emerged, which aims to facilitate transactions and make consumers' financial lives more practical.

The financial institution Cetelem is the company responsible for all the control of issuance, management of processes and services for the Submarino card. This makes it much easier and faster to resolve any type of problem that may arise.

Voz Card

The Vooz card is a product from Sicoob bank that has some very different characteristics, such as Credit Cooperativism, which is nothing more than the participation of customers in the cooperative's decisions.

Among the main features of the Vooz card we have the zero annual fee. Therefore, making at least one purchase per month with this card, otherwise the installment to be paid costs R$$9.90.

As with other models, here you will also be subject to credit analysis so that you can be approved and receive a limit compatible with your financial life.

Along with this, we have the purely technological innovations of this card, as it has Contactless technology (payment by approximation). In addition, its invoice is 100% digital and can be paid through the app.

By the way, you can download the Sicoob app which is available for Android and iOS.

In addition, if you are not very familiar with the internet, you can go to a Sicoob cooperative and get your card right away.

As for the brand, the Vooz card offers two brand options: Mastercard and Visa. In addition, both offer some very similar benefits, such as price protection, purchase protection, extended warranty and 24-hour customer service.

The difference with Vooz is its international coverage, so you don't have to worry about making purchases outside of your country. And last but not least, you can order as many additional cards as you want without paying anything for them.

What are the advantages of the Submarino card?

After all, what are the benefits? Source: Pexels.

First of all, we have the Submarino card's exclusive miles program. In addition, we can also highlight the expansion of the limit for in-store purchases. Finally, cardholders are offered discounts at online stores that are partners of the company.

Another feature is that its brand is Mastercard, which brings with it a good quantity and variety of exclusive services for its customers, such as:

  • 24-hour emergency service;
  • Points program to exchange for products;
  • Purchase insurance;
  • Security and flexibility in payments;
  • Lowest price guarantee.

These benefits are only possible because Mastercard is one of the oldest and strongest brands in the world. As such, they can offer high-caliber benefits.

Furthermore, it is very simple to request and control the card, as its application is available for iOS and Android, in addition to providing the main tools necessary for monitoring transactions.

What are the advantages of the Vooz card?

First of all, we have the fact that the annual fee is practically free, because if the customer makes a purchase, they already guarantee this benefit.

Continuing on the list, it is possible to mention the possibility of having additional cards and with just one monthly purchase, eliminating the annual fee for all cards.

Furthermore, as already mentioned, it has international coverage.

What are the disadvantages of the Submarino card?

After all, what are the disadvantages? Source: Pexels.

To mention some points that can be considered as a disadvantage of the Submarino card, firstly we point out the requirement to prove a minimum income equal to or greater than 1 minimum wage.

In addition, you will of course undergo a credit analysis so that the institutions know whether you are truly trustworthy to take on all possible future commitments.

Regarding the annual fee, the Submarino card charges 12 installments of R$15.70, that is, R$188.40 annually, which is a bad point since other competitors do not charge this fee.

In addition to the annual fee, there are other important fees, which are:

  • Issuance of the 2nd copy of the card: R$22.00;
  • Interest rate on installments: 0.99% per month + IOF;
  • Withdrawal at Banco24Horas: R$13.90;
  • Interest rate on personal loan: up to 15,99%.

Finally, the last relevant feature to present is the coverage of the Submarino card, which is only national.

What are the disadvantages of the Vooz card?

The most interesting thing is that it is impossible to request the card via the app. Therefore, to request the Vooz card, you must go to a cooperative branch and request the card in person.

Right away, the customer has a card in their hands, however this card does not have information such as number or CVV, data that you will only be able to access later.

Submarino Card or Vooz Card: which one to choose?

So, have you managed to decide which card is best for your day-to-day life?

Well, both have strengths and weaknesses. One you can apply for via the app, while the other requires the customer to be physically present at a branch. One requires the customer to wait for the credit analysis, while the other gives you the card right away.

Therefore, the essential thing is that you understand what your priorities are at this moment. If your goal is to have a good initial credit limit, the Vooz card is the right option. On the other hand, if you prefer to have good shopping opportunities and a good limit in some specific stores, Submarino is perfect for you.

Have you come this far but are still not convinced that the Submarino card or the Vooz card are one of the best options for your financial profile? Don't worry, as we have put together comparisons of other cards available on the market that may interest you. We are sure that it will help you decide on the best option for you!
