In short, the Itaú card bill installment feature works in a very simple way. From there, you can negotiate your invoice with the bank and pay the amount in up to 24 fixed installments.

This way, you can choose installments that fit your budget and the period for which you will pay them. This frees up your credit limit as you pay off your invoice.

Furthermore, when you pay your Itaú bill in installments, you can continue using your credit card normally.

Namely, Banco Itaú works with two ways of paying your current bill in installments. The first of these can be done within 15 days after your invoice is due. In this model, you offer a down payment and pay the remainder in up to 24 installments.

In the second way, you do not need to offer a down payment, but it must be requested before the due date. From there, you split your Itaú invoice into fixed amounts that can be paid in up to 24 installments.

Here it is important to consider that, regardless of the option selected, the process of paying your bill in installments may incur interest on the new installments made.
