02. Red Mountain Plateau
When we think of plateaus in Brazil, the most famous ones come to mind, which are Veadeiros or Guimarães – perhaps even Mesas, located in the state of Maranhão. However, there is another that deserves to be equally praised: Chapada da Serra Vermelha, which is located in the south of Piauí.
For those who don't know, the Red Mountain Plateau It is located within the Serra das Confusões National Park, where there are numerous archaeological sites. Among the attractions are the caves, caverns and surprising rock formations, which make the scenery special and ideal for those who enjoy hiking and exploring places of natural beauty.
