04. Poti River Canyon

In Brazil, there are several types of canyons for all tastes. Whether it's the Xingó and Itaibezinho canyons or the famous Furnas, located in the city of Capitólio, in Minas Gerais, the truth is that when it comes to canyons, our country is not bad. Among them, there is even one that is very little talked about and visited: the Poti River Canyon, ideal for those who enjoy extreme sports.

Among all the canyons in Brazil, there is one that is unmissable and deserves your attention: the Poti River Canyon, located in the state of Piauí.

At 60 meters high, the Poti River Canyon is located 230 kilometers from Teresina, the capital of Piauí. On the way to the site, you can find several caves and natural shelters along the trails. In addition, there are rock inscriptions along the cliffs, which makes the tour even more special. In other words, even though the place is one of the least visited in Brazil, you need to put it on your “see before you die” list.
