16. There is only one political party in the country
In a country where dictatorship reigns, political competition does not exist. As a result, there will be no more than one political party in the country. And this is precisely the scenario in North Korea, where there is only the Workers' Party of Korea.
A curious fact is that, although the current situation in North Korea is dictatorship, not everything is totalitarianism and repression. The country holds elections every five years to legitimize its democracy and its leaders have always been elected by 100% of valid votes! Detail: there is only one candidate on the voting ballots.
