Do you have the Bolsa Familia blocked? Resolve the situation!
Initially, Bolsa Família is a Federal Government program that has existed since 2003 in which families in poverty and extreme poverty are benefited with a certain monthly income. But what to do with the blocked Bolsa Família?
Today, we'll show you what to do in these cases and what causes the benefit to be blocked, as well as other useful information about this program! Read on!
What to do in the Bolsa Familia Blocked situation?
Well then, to unlock the benefit, the beneficiary must go to one of the Caixa Econômica Federal branches, to find out the reasons that led to the blockade of the benefit!
This is because, if there was a blockade due to the absence of the children from school, it is enough to enter them again in school attendance or to present documents that prove the reasons for the irregularity.
On the other hand, if it happened due to outdated data, just regularize them at your city hall.
It is important to mention that all installments not received will be refunded when the situation is regularized.
Therefore, always keep the data up to date, especially in cases of changes in the family nucleus such as birth, marriage, death, separation, adoption, among others. And, if there is no change, every two years, the data must be updated.
In this regard, to continue receiving the benefit, some criteria must be met, such as: School attendance of at least 85% for children and adolescents aged 6 to 15 years and 75% for adolescents aged 16 and 17 years.
And in addition, it is present in prenatal consultations according to the Ministry of Health calendar, in the case of pregnant women.
As well as participating in educational activities offered by the Ministry of Health on breastfeeding and healthy eating, in the case of breastfeeding mothers.
It is also important to keep the vaccination card for children aged 0 to 7 years old up to date, as well as to constantly monitor the health of women between 14 and 44 years of age.
Bolsa Família Blocked, Suspended or Cancelled: what's the difference?
So, although the terms are somewhat confusing for beneficiaries, they are not equivalent. This is because cancellation is the last instance of the benefit, as we will show below.
In cases of blocked Bolsa Família, it means that the benefit will be blocked for one month, and can be withdrawn in the following month along with the new installment.
It is important to say that you need to go to Caixa or CRAS in your city to understand the reasons for the blockade!
On the other hand, if the benefit is suspended, it means that the payment will be stopped for two months, and the beneficiaries will not be able to receive these amounts after this period.
Finally, cancellation is the last step of all, in which the family stops participating in the Bolsa Família program!
Therefore, care must be taken to follow all the recommended criteria, so as not to run the risk of being blocked, suspended or cancelled!
