However, many people are still in doubt about how the card's points program works and how it can be transformed into miles.

Therefore, to solve your doubts, we have separated in this post the main information about the Pão de Açúcar card miles program.

How does the points program work?

First of all, to get Pão de Açúcar miles, you need to understand the card's points program, since that's how you can earn and use them!

Therefore, Pão de Açúcar has a points program that grants you a certain amount of points for each purchase you make.

Namely, within the R$ program, 1 purchase is equivalent to earning 1 point that you can accumulate to exchange for miles.

Furthermore, as Pão de Açúcar offers its credit card in Platinum and Gold versions, it should be noted that the program may work differently for the two models.

Therefore, on the Gold card you can use your points within 12 months and need to accumulate around 4,000 points to redeem them. With this card, you can make 2 redemptions per year.

For those with the Platinum card, you can use your points within 24 months and have an unlimited number of redemptions per year, and you must have at least 4,000 points to redeem.

How to exchange points for miles on this card?

Namely, the points you accumulate on the Pão de Açúcar card can be redeemed and transferred to airline programs.

That way, you can redeem your points and send them to the TudoAzul, Latam or Smiles program to be able to use your points as miles and access discounts on the purchase of airline tickets and hotel reservations.

Who can redeem Pão de Açúcar card miles?

At first, airline miles can only be redeemed by the Pão de Açúcar cardholder.

This happens because he needs to have the card data in hand and access his account created in the airline programs.

This is the only way he can carry out the entire process of redeeming the miles.

In short, in order to be able to redeem Pão de Açúcar card miles, you need to accumulate at least 4,000 points.

That way, after having that amount of points, you will go to the company's official channels to redeem your points.

Namely, the channels are the Itaú Cartão application, Itaú internet banking for account holders and the call center at 3003-3030.

Thus, when entering through one of these channels, you can request the redemption of your points and then transfer them to the airline programs in order to access the Pão de Açúcar card miles and use them on your next trips.
