Tip 19. Avoid interference
In line with the tip on preparing your environment, avoiding interference will make you much more productive. This is because there is nothing that hinders your performance more than people calling you at inappropriate times with demands that have nothing to do with your work.
So, if you don't live alone, try to isolate yourself while you're working and explain the importance of this for the development of your activities. With a space already dedicated to your home office, the residents of your home will respect your work much more.
Also, turn off your WhatsApp notifications, as keeping them on is virtually guaranteed to stop every minute. You definitely don't need to know every time someone has messaged you. If it's urgent, make sure the person will call you when they don't get your return.
