Well, the Social Integration Program was created in 1970 with the purpose of including private sector employees in the development of companies in this sector. It works as an income supplement program and is paid by the government through Caixa Econômica Federal. In this way, today we are going to show you how to check your PIS balance.
You are entitled to benefit from the Abono Salarial, which consists of a minimum wage proportional to the months worked. But, for that, you need to fulfill some requirements, such as being registered with the PIS for five years or more, having worked with a formal contract for at least 30 days in the last year and receiving up to two minimum wages per month.

How can I check the PIS over the internet?
First, it is very easy and quick to check your PIS over the internet through the Meu INSS website. If you do not have a registered account, fill in the fields with the requested data and create a password for your CPF. Next, you need to confirm some information about your contribution in recent years.
Once you've created your profile and logged in with your CPF and password, just click on “My registration” and then you'll have access to all your data, including your PIS number.
How to query PIS by CPF?
So, if you prefer to consult your PIS by CPF in a way other than online, you can do so through the Caixa Econômica Federal telephone service channels, or go to one of its thousands of physical branches throughout Brazil. This way you know the number and can also check the balance.
Consult PIS balance by CPF
First of all, you can check your PIS balance on the official Caixa Econômica website or through the Acesso Seguro portal, but for that you need to register with Caixa.
In addition, with this same registration you have access to the Caixa Trabalhador application and can also check your balance there, in addition to having access to other information, such as payment date and past contributions.
Consult PIS balance by digital work card
Finally, you can also check your balance through the Digital Workbook application, available for smartphones in the App Store or Google Play. To access the app, you need to register your CPF and password on the Government website and fill in some personal data.
So, just go to the “benefits” tab and all the information about your PIS, as well as the balance, will be available to you.
