First of all, the FGTS was created in 1966 in order to guarantee a financial reserve for CLT workers. Even if the monthly amount collected is not that high, it can make a difference when we lose our job. How to check the FGTS balance by CPF?
Well, there are two ways to check your guarantee fund using your CPF: through the Caixa website or through the application.
First of all, you must access the Caixa website and click on the FGTS extract option. In the login area, you will see the field to put your CPF, your NIS or your email. In this way, fill in your CPF number and enter the registered password.
If it is the first access, you must select “register/forgot the password” and fill in the requested information. In addition, you will need to confirm your email address, and register a 6 to 8 digit password.
Then, when logging in, you just need to locate the FGTS tab, where you can consult your statement and even other information.
As well as computer access, you also have the option of checking your FGTS balance through the mobile app. So, for that, you must download the FGTS app and register using your CPF number. But it's fast and practical, don't worry.
How to see the FGTS balance on the cell phone?
So, you can also check the balance of your guarantee fund through your cell phone, just download the FGTS application for free.
Then, when opening the app, you must click on “first access”. The agreement with the terms of use will be displayed and you must read it before selecting “I accept”. Once you accept the terms of use, you must enter your NIS or CPF number and then click on “continue”.
Finally, you fill out a form with your personal data, and select the “next” option. In this way, you will create your access password and then click on “register”. And ready! Now you have access to your FGTS balance on your cell phone and can check it whenever you want.
How do I know how much FGTS I have?
Furthermore, if you want to know the balance of your guarantee fund, there are several channels that can inform you. In this sense, if you have an account at Caixa, then you can make the query through internet banking.
In addition, you can also call Caixa using the service channel numbers and they can tell you the balance. There are still options on the Caixa website, the FTGS app or even SMS.
