What do I need to apply for Reclusion Aid?
In summary, to apply for Reclusion Aid, there are three different channels that you access to obtain this benefit. Therefore, you can access the means mentioned below.
- “Meu INSS” application, which is available for Android and iOS devices;
- My INSS website;
- INSS phone number, which is 135.
When entering one of the channels, you just need to inform that you would like to make a new request with the INSS and inform that you want to apply for the Reclusion Aid. From here, you can simply follow the instructions that appear to you.
However, a very important part of the process is submitting the documents. It is from them that you can prove your current situation and be approved to receive the benefit.
Therefore, it is important to have the following documents on hand:
- Prisoner's CPF number;
- Judicial certificate to prove the status of the prisoner;
- Proof of contribution time to the INSS, such as the prisoner's work card or CNPJ card (MEI);
- Proof that you are dependent on the insured.
With these documents in hand, you can already apply for the Reclusion Aid benefit.
How to receive the benefit?
After you have applied for the reclusion aid, you will need to follow up your process with the INSS.
This process can also be done through the same channels used to enter the process. Therefore, you can access the application, website or telephone 135 and ask to consult orders.
On average, the INSS can take up to 45 consecutive days to carry out all the analysis of the documents in order to release the benefits of the Reclusion Aid.
How to withdraw the Reclusion Aid?
In short, most social aid that the government releases to people is paid into official Caixa accounts. Generally, the channel used is Caixa Tem's digital savings account.
Therefore, if after completing the entire application process, you are accepted for the benefit. You can receive the aid in your Caixa Tem account.
From there, if you have a Caixa card, you can withdraw your money at a Banco24horas. If you don't have it, you can transfer the money to an account of your choice at any bank to carry out the withdrawal.
