The Minha casa-Minha vida program, a substitute for the Casa Verde e Amarela program, is a Federal Government benefit created to facilitate the financing of the first property through subsidies that help with the payment of installments. But, after all, how to enroll in the program?

How to enroll in the Minha casa, Minha vida program?
First of all, let's understand how the program works. It is a benefit that exists to replace the Casa Verde e Amarela program in promoting the right to housing for families living in urban and rural areas, seeking to raise housing standards and also the quality of life of these people.
This is because, in addition to financing houses, the program also works with land regularization and home improvement.
To enroll, you can contract individually through a construction company or through a unit organizing entity linked to an undertaking financed by Caixa.
In this sense, you just need to do the simulation to find out how much you can invest and deliver the documents to a Caixa Aqui Correspondent or to one of the Caixa Econômica Federal branches.
Next, Caixa receives and analyzes all the documents and shows the best conditions for payment.
After evaluating and validating it, Caixa proceeds to approve the registration. So, all you have to do is sign the contract for the acquisition of the property! Keep reading to find out who can sign up!
Who can apply?
Families with gross income of up to R$2,000.00, from R$2,001.00 to R$4,000.00 and from R$4,001.00 to R$7,000.00 can enroll in the program.
If your family has a gross income of up to R$2,000.00, you can purchase the property with interest rates of up to 4,75% per year and subsidies can reach up to R$47,500.00.
On the other hand, if your family has a gross income of R$2,001.00 to R$4,000.00, you can purchase the property with interest rates of up to 5.25% per year and subsidies can reach R$29,000.00.
For families with a gross income of R$4,001.00 to R$7,000.00, the interest rate can reach up to 7,66% per year.
In this sense, the program serves three income ranges and you have up to 30 years to pay interest rates and subsidies according to the income group, value and location of your property.
In addition, it is necessary to emphasize that in addition to these income ranges, the registrant must:
- Be over 18 years old;
- Be Brazilian born or naturalized;
- Not having any pending issues in the CPF;
- Nor should he own property in his own name;
- Not having participated in another housing program;
- You also must not have a national borrowing registry or have received government housing benefits.
After following all these requirements, you can apply for the program!
