What subjects to start studying for competitions?
Starting preparations for a public tender is a challenge, especially when we still don't have access to the announcement and which subjects should be included in the test.
But, it is important to focus on the subjects that are included in almost all competition exams and, with that, guarantee your safety to take the test. And start your studies regardless of the publication of the edict.
The subjects that fall in almost all public tenders, currently, are:
- Constitutional right;
- Portuguese language;
- Logical reasoning;
- Current affairs;
- Basic math;
- Computing.
By mastering the basics and, if possible, the intermediate of these subjects, you have part of your studies forwarded.
It is very difficult, for example, to find a notice that does not cover knowledge in Portuguese. Also, the vast majority of higher education contests require knowledge of administrative and constitutional law, regardless of the area of expertise of the vacancy.
Therefore, start your studies in these areas, while waiting for the public notice of your public tender to be published.
How to study for questions from scratch?

With this, you train your knowledge, identify what is already good and what knowledge needs to be strengthened.

If you already have access to the notice, choose the questions based on the document
To choose the questions for your studies more assertively, following the public notice and the subjects that will have greater weight is the best decision.
But, if the document has not yet been published, study the questions of previous tests, in general, focusing on the most common subjects among public tender exams.
Get started, even if you don't know the subjects in depth
At the beginning, it is normal to feel apprehensive and insecure when starting the studies with the questions, mainly because some subjects require details that we are not yet aware of or have a higher level of difficulty.
But the great truth is that only with training and time, you will get used to the characteristics of the question. The important thing is to start and persist in studies.
