CadÚnico is a registry of information that allows the government to consult the main data of families living in poverty, extreme poverty and low income in the country.

Created by the federal government in order to provide citizens with the chance to contemplate the main social benefits in Brazil, it is an automatic system and updated by the city halls of each state, free of charge.

By enrolling in the system and keeping the data up to date, the user has the chance to participate in various social programs.

However, enrolling in the Cadastro Único is not a guarantee that you will be considered, as each program has different requirements. However, all of them have the Cadastro Único as a major requirement.

In the Single Registry, there are some requirements to obtain registration. Some of them are:

  • people living on the streets, alone or with their families;
  • people who live alone, which constitute the modality called single-person families;
  • families with a total monthly income of up to three minimum wages;
  • families with an income greater than three minimum wages, provided that registration is linked to the user's inclusion in social programs in the three spheres of the Federal Government;
  • families with a monthly income of up to half the minimum wage per capita.

  • Check if the CRAS itself does not register and if it is necessary to schedule the interview;
  • The person who will register the family needs to be at least 16 years old and preferably a woman. You must have your CPF or voter registration card in hand, and will be considered the family responsible in the documents of possible aid or benefit to be received;
