Therefore, if you want to know more about C6 Tag, in this article we will show you how this resource works, who can use it and the main advantages and disadvantages of the benefit.

First, let's better understand what the C6 Tag is to find out why most people end up joining this feature.

Therefore, the C6 Tag is basically a sticker that you can stick on your car to indicate that the toll or parking payment will happen from it.

In this way, by having the sticker affixed to the car, payment for tolls and parking takes place automatically when you drive the car in the environment.

That way, you don't have to queue to pay the toll or waste time finding money to pay for parking.

With the C6 Tag, you end up having an automatic means of payment by simply sticking the sticker on your car's windshield.

How does the C6 Tag work?

After understanding what the C6 Tag is, it is common for people to have more doubts about how it works. After all, how can the payment of toll and parking fees happen automatically?

As strange as it may seem at first glance, the way this feature works is actually very simple.

Basically, for you to be able to use the C6 Tag, first of all, you need to load the functionality with enough balance to pass through tolls and parking lots.

That way, after loading the sticker with enough balance, you just need to go to a parking lot or go through the toll booth and the amount referring to fees that these establishments charge will be automatically deducted from your balance.

So, to use the C6 Tag, just keep it loaded with the amount you need to pay for parking and tolls.

But, the most interesting thing is that the tag doesn't block if you don't load it. That way, you can safely carry it around only when you really need to use it.

Who can use?

In short, anyone who has a free C6 Bank digital account can request a tag and enjoy the benefits of the feature.

And that goes for those who have an account as an individual, legal entity and MEI. Regardless of the account, you can now order your tag.

Its delivery time is up to 20 calendar days and, when it arrives, you need to activate it from your C6 Bank account application.

Is there a fee to use the C6 Tag?

Namely, when the feature was released to the market, the C6 Tag was completely free. That way, if someone wanted to use the benefits, they wouldn't have to incur any costs.

However, in 2022, C6 Bank changed its policies and started charging a monthly fee of R$ 5.00 for users to use the tag.

But, there are ways to be exempt from this charge and receive the 1st tag for free. For this you can:

  • Apply for the C6 Platinum card;
  • Have a C6 Empresas or C6 MEI account;
  • Have one of the atom accelerator plans;
  • Make investments from R$ 20 thousand in C6 Bank;
  • Be level 2 or VIP in the C6 Experience.

In addition, those who have the C6 Bank Mastercard Black can access 4 free tags for use.

After all, is the C6 Tag worth it?

After knowing more about C6 Tag and the facilities it offers, it might be interesting to know the strengths and weaknesses of this feature to make sure if it's worth it for you.

For this, we separate the main advantages and disadvantages of this solution for you to analyze better.

Benefits

First of all, let's start analyzing the main advantages of this feature that C6 Bank offers.

Here, we need to highlight the fact that this tag is accepted at all Brazilian highway toll booths, meaning that you always have the chance of avoiding queues when going through toll booths.

In addition, C6 Tag works in more than 400 parking lots around Brazil for your convenience.

The C6 Tag is also easy to use, as you only need to stick the sticker. And the fact that you don't need to constantly add balance to the tag is also interesting, since that way you can load it only when you need to use it.

Disadvantages

On the other hand, the C6 Tag also has some negative points that must be considered.

The main one is in relation to the monthly fee charge after launching the resource for free for everyone.

And even if today it is possible to receive exemption from the fee, it is only applied the first time the tag is used. In the others, the driver must pay R$ 5.00.
