Brazil Aid: Federal Government program to ensure quality of life for Brazilians
Before talking about the Auxílio Brasil extra payment, it is important to mention that there are benefits paid by the Federal Government that were created to bring more quality of life to Brazilians, as is the case of the Auxílio Brasil.

Increase in the amount of aid Brazil
Initially, Auxílio Brasil, also known as Bolsa Família, is a benefit paid by the Federal Government to all Brazilians who are enrolled in the program, in the amount of R$400.
On the other hand, this value may be higher for some people, this happens due to the extra installments that were included in the benefit, so it can reach R$2,200.
And in addition, more recently, the Federal Senate approved a permanent increase in the Auxílio Brasil, in addition to extra amounts that can also increase the benefit. So, to better understand about the extra payment of installments, continue reading the article.
Who is entitled to the extra payment?
So, according to the information provided, people entitled to extra payment are those who receive the benefits below:
- Early Childhood Benefit, which includes families with children aged 0 to 36 months and receive an amount of R$130 per member (limited to 5 benefits);
- Family Composition Benefit that includes families with pregnant women or with members aged between three and 21 who receive R$65 per member (limited to 5 benefits);
- Assistance in school sports that includes students between 12 and 18 years of age from families benefiting from the Brasil aid who excel in Brazilian school games. In this case, they receive the amount of R$100 + a single installment of R$1,000;
- Junior Scientific Initiation Scholarship for students from Auxilio Brasil beneficiary families who stand out in national academic and scientific competitions whose value is R$100 + a single installment of R$1,000;
- Citizen Child Aid, which includes families that have a child aged between 0 and 48 months, who cannot find a place in public and private day care centers. They receive the value of R$200 part shift and R$300 full shift;
- Benefit for overcoming extreme poverty that includes families with a monthly income per person equal to or less than the poverty line, whose value is calculated per individual;
- Aid for rural productive inclusion that includes family farmers registered in the Single Registry whose value is R$200 per family;
- Urban productive inclusion aid, which includes beneficiaries of the Brazil Aid who prove formal employment. In this case, the value is R$200 per family;
- Compensatory transition benefit that benefit Bolsa Família beneficiary families who have a reduction in the amount received. The value is calculated individually.
Assistance Brazil extra payment R$1,000 reais
Initially, the installments are due to families whose children are students who perform well in academic competitions and school games.
So, in the two options, Junior Scientific Initiation Scholarship and School Sports Aid, the family will receive a total of R$2,200 at the end of the year.
And besides, this happens because the Federal Government releases a single installment of R$1,000, and 12 monthly installments of R$100 for the student during the year.

- Brazilian Olympiad of Sustainable Solutions for Water and Energy – OBSSAE;
- 3rd National Scientific Olympiad on Oceans and Polar Environments and 3rd Hackathon for new technologies for Marine and Polar research;
- Brazilian Mathematical Olympiad – OBM;
- IPhCO – International Physics and Culture Olympiad – NATIONAL PHASE;
- National Chemistry Olympics Program – OBQ;
- 24th Brazilian Olympiad of Astronomy and Astronautics OBA;
- 11th Brazilian Agricultural Olympiad – OBAP;
- And in addition, the Mathematical Olympiad of the Federal Institutes – OMIF;
- 10th Brazilian Public School Physics Olympiad – OBFEP;
- Brazilian Informatics Olympiad 2021 – OBI;
- And also, XVII Brazilian Biology Olympiad – OBB.
On the other hand, school games competitions need to be promoted: by state governments, as well as by the Brazilian Olympic Committee and by state federations of school sports.
And in addition, also by the Brazilian Confederation of School Sports and by the Brazilian Paralympic Committee.
For this, students need to be between 12 and 17 years old and must be, at most, in third place in the individual or collective modalities disputed.
