15. Araraquara (SP)

Located in the interior of the state of São Paulo, 270 kilometers from the capital, Araraquara is considered one of the best cities to live in Brazil. Common Municipal Human Development Index (IDHM) of 0.815, Araraquara ranks as the 14th largest in Brazil. Furthermore, the city was the best qualified in the FIRJAN Municipal Development Index, which uses income, education and health criteria.
