18. Maringá (PR)
Considered one of the best cities to retire in Brazil, the municipality of Maringá, located in Paraná, was elected as the eighth best place in our country to live. If that wasn't enough, it also won first place in the ranking of the best cities in Pará to live with your children. In other words, what Maringá does not lack is merit!
With more than 420 thousand inhabitants, Maringá is a planned city, with wide avenues, large green areas and an excellent level of quality of life. It is one of the few municipalities in the country that manages to reconcile economic growth with environmental preservation. So much so that Maringá holds the title of Ecological City, as it has one of the highest concentrations of green area per inhabitant – 26.65 square meters. With so many qualities, it is possible to understand why Maringá is considered one of the best places for retirees in Brazil.
