What is the Young Apprentice Assaí program and how does it work?
In accordance with the Apprenticeship Law which, since 2000, guides medium and large companies to make available a quota of 5% to 15% of vacancies for young people, which is why the Assaí network opens a selection process for the Young Apprentice Assaí.
In this sense, the network seeks to help young Brazilians to enter the job market, offering the opportunity for their first job with a formal contract.
In this case, in order to compete for vacancies, candidates must meet certain requirements and, soon after getting the vacancy, in addition to exercising the function, they must participate in improvement courses from SENAC and SENAI.
In this way, the network collaborates with inclusion and equal rights.
Who can be a Young Apprentice Assaí?
To become an Assaí Young Apprentice, you must meet certain requirements, such as:
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Work 4 to 6 hours a day;
- Be studying or have finished Elementary/High School;
- Have no record in the workbook.
In this case, these requirements are charged in all learning programs.
And in addition to these requirements, young people also need to be registered in an educational institution and have good academic performance and a certain amount of adequate attendance.
Furthermore, it is necessary to have completed elementary school, have completed or be in high school and be at least 18 years old, as working hours can go up to 10 pm.
How many hours does a Young Apprentice work at Assaí?
To work in the program, the Young Apprentice works from 4 to 6 hours a day, without compromising his studies. Also, on the network, work can last until 10 pm, hence the need for a minimum age of 18 years.
